The Apprentice - One Championship edition

Its been such a long time since I last sat down to watch TV with my wife and kids. Just out of the blue, today we turned on Netflix and watched The Apprentice - One Championship edition. I was curious as to how they would incorporate One Championship into the widely popular The Apprentice competition format, but this show proves to have done a very good job at that. I personally feel that there are so many learnings we could take away from this show - either from a businessman, athlete, or an MMA fighter's point of view. For instance, when this show portrayed how to show respect. In the pilot episode, one of the contestants was shown to be busy on his phone while his opponent was presenting. When it was his turn to present, he was also not fully engaged with the audience as he delivered his pitch by reading a script from his phone. He got reprimanded for these actions, and while his team won the challenge, I think he could learn one or two thing from it as well.

This show is all about how to come together as a team to make a decision, honing your visionary mindset, how to seize an opportunity, working with a team of various backgrounds and so many more great things we could apply in our lives.

What interested me the most was when they brought 2 guest stars whom MMA fans are most definitely familiar with on episode 2, GSP and Renzo Gracie as well as Angela Lee, "the unstoppable", on episode 3.

Through this show, we could also see another side of Chatri Sityodtong who is very meticulous and firm in deciding the team members. It's safe to say that watching The Apprentice - One Championship will not be a waste of your time. It is a very interesting blend of business and MMA. For someone who hasnt watched MMA in a while, I find this show very refreshing. I feel that this is also a good show for my daughter to help herself prepare for another FGD sessions (which, most of the time could be very daunting) in her jobseeking process. I would love to go through this further in my upcoming blog post.
